Summary: My wife and I were lucky to buy this machine used at a really low price. It was in good shape and hardly used. We had it a year and then the motor went out. I was thoroughly impressed with this cool washer, except that the motor broke. My appliance guy, who is certified with LG was surpised about the motor when he came to check it out. Maybe we just had bad luck. Machines break but I would still buy another LG. A KEY is to have a good water softener too.

Summary: What a waste. Takes forever to do a load of clothes. Leaves white soap stains on my shirts (only washing 4 or 5 at a time). Uses hardly any water so it is impossible for the clothes to be really clean. Gotta keep the door open to keep it from smelling. All in all I wish I bought a cheap top load washer. Sure it saves water but it uses twice as much electricity. What's the point? DON"T WASTE YOUR MONEY NO MATTER HOW CHEAP YOU CAN BUY ONE OF THESE!
Summary: At least 1 other reviewer has had the same experience. I've owned the machine over two years and have consistently had a problem with brown gunk buildup behind the drum and a horrible smell. I have to leave the door open whenever it's not in use. Every few weeks the gunk gets flushed out from behind the drum and stains our clothes. These stains don't come out easily. I use Affresh regularly and still have the smell and gunk problem.
Summary: Some of the very basics of a mother washing the kids clothes are gone. I can't soak clothes to get out stains. I can't do a quick rinse or spin. There is a rinse/spin cycle for 21 minutes but when I am wanting to rinse the kids uniform at 10p at night i can't quickly do so. I long for a spin only cycle!!!!! I'm not old fashion, just want some of the basics that should come with new technology. Didn't you have any mother's test your product???
Summary: Worst washing machine I've ever owned. Constantly having to clean gunk out of the rubber seal. Clothes come out of the washer smelly every time. When using the large cycle your clothes will be too wet to put straight into the dryer therefore I've had to run my clothes through the normal cycle to get the excess water out. Therefore this process defeats the purpose of using less water because I'm having to run my clothes through two loads.
Summary: I've had my washer about 2 years. Although I open the trap door to drain the water and clean the filter about every 2 weeks and wipe out the rubber liner regularly, I continue to periodically end up with clothes dirtier after the wash than when they went in. There is brown gunk throughout the inside of the drum. I cannot find the source and it is only intermittent so I don't think it is a blocked hose.
Summary: I usually do not write reviews, but thought I should on this one to warn others. Initially, this looked like a great washer with lots of features for the price. Attractively built, and decent warranty. This is the problem: All the cycles except the "quick wash" are painfully too long......with the purpose being to save water at all costs. This is unecessay to meet today's green standard.
Summary: We read several reviews, shopped around and decided that this washer was the best value for the money. Very quiet. My wife loves the washing results. Easy to use. Good quality. Outstanding customer service.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
