Summary: Bought this machine less than three years ago after searching the web for best value and ratings. What a mistake. The clothes don't get clean and the smell that permeates my clothes are terrible! Tried buying a product to stop smell but it only works sometimes. we clean the gasket, empty the excess water and still smells. We are now going back to "old Fashioned" speed queen. Don't have a problem with using more water to get clothes clean.
Summary: I bought this washer as a set with LG dryer #DLE2516W and love them both! I've had them almost two years and no problem with either of them. The dryer even plays a little song when clothes are dry! For those that are having trouble with balance they must be overloading the machine. I have also always left the washer door ajar after removing the clothes and have never had any musty odor. It still smells brand new.
Summary: I purchased this washer just over 2 years ago as my first front loader set.. I must say that to this day I love it! I have two small children so I do a load a day.. The timer feature is great for planing along with the daily start... Washed wonderfully-most of the time it only takes me 15-20 to dry a load of laundry cause its so dry coming out of the washer. The only problem ive had twice was water on the floor but that was due to being overloaded and unbalanced...
Summary: washer doesn't get stuff clean, washed small blanket from twin size bed and when pulled out of washer parts still 100% dry. Understand it is saving water but the amount it uses it too little to get things clean. I wish I would have just put the money in my old water hog top loader than spend 800 bucks on this worthless washer.
Summary: I really thought I had done my research. Reviews were great, it is a good washer, saves water and is quiet, but my machine cause such water hammer sounds like the pipes are going to break which is a concern of mine. Had a plumber put in water hammer valves to relieve pressure but doesn't work, Sears service said it the machine is doing what it is suppose to do turn on and off letter in a little water at a time, doesn't happen with any thing else in the house.
Summary: Bought this after an exhausting research process (talking to friends, reading reviews, consumer reports, etc) and am very happy with the purchase. Wash takes longer on a front loader, but clothes are very dry when they come out of the spin cycle. Does a great job at cleaning and there are enough wash cycles (presets) as well as the ability to customize (i like to use cold wash for everything but the whitest of whites). Easy to install in a small space too.
