New "Perma-Wrinkle" Technology

James Howard, Amazon
5 November 2015
  • Summary: If you're looking for dry clothes done quickly, look elsewhere. Not only will your (tiny) load emerge 3 hours after you begin the cycle, it will be completely damp. LG's new "Perma-Wrinkle" technology will also rearrange the molecular structure of your shirts to give you that "Permanent Wrinkle"...

"Don't buy"

Olycat, Sears Outlet
8 July 2014
  • Summary: Since day 1 it's leaked and the fabric softener compartment doesn't drain. After 3 uses, we called Sears to let them know there were issues so they sent out a repair person who told us a small hair was between the door and the seal so it leaked.

"Finally, three tries later!"

Ms.STPfire, Sears Outlet
18 February 2014
  • Summary: This is my third compact washer in 8 years and I've finally found it! I have had a Whirlpool and a Maytag, each worse than the last. The Maytag only lasted 14 months (of course, out of warranty but never worked from day 1).

"Small but powerful"

askow, Sears Outlet
16 February 2014
  • Summary: I have had this washer for 6 months now. It has functioned wonderfully - cleans clothes well, requires very little detergent, and most importantly, fit in the space I had. I had my unit installed by a plumber - it is located in the kitchen of a second floor apartment that has 100 year old wood...

High Quality

greatbay, AJ Madison
22 January 2014
  • Summary: We are quit pleased with the operation of the washer and dryer that sits on top of the washer. Dryer mounting brackets are included. Both units are of a very modern design, and you pay accordingly. One small problem was the front to back fit.

"One of the best purchases of my life..."

desertsage, Sears Outlet
2 October 2013
  • Summary: I live in a small condo with limited space for appliances. After seven years of hauling my laundry to a laundromat, I finally decided to invest in a washer and dryer. I researched various compact washers and the good reviews and compact size led me to choose this model.

"Water will not reach operating temperature"

L.E.S., Sears Outlet
11 May 2013
  • Summary: The unit has an internal heater. It warms the water, but doesn't get it hotter than 110F at maximum "extra hot" setting or on the "Sanitary" cycle. The hot setting produces a temperature between 80F and 85F.

Great Compact Washer

Jeff Lehman, Amazon
30 July 2012
  • Summary: Have had this unit since 8-11. Due to its size, you must do smaller loads. Very quiet while in use. When setting-up, you must remove the "shipping lock-down bolts" to allow the drum to move freely.

Big Mistake

Tropicalieguy, Amazon
16 July 2012
  • Summary: I just purchased my first LG product., I just spent $2000.00 on this washer and the matching dryer. $225.00 having them delivered, stacked and installed. The installers wanted to make sure the appliances were working right before they left. First time trying the new washer and it does not work.

Love my LG!

Felixthecat, AJ Madison
20 June 2012
  • Summary: We bought this machine and its matching dryer two years ago; they are stacked in a bathroom in our home. Since buying them, I have washed almost nothing by hand because the washer is so gentle on fabrics. Even some blouses marked "dry clean only" have come out great.
