Excerpt: We purchased this washer dryer for our house about a year and a half ago after researching different models online. Hotpoint, Indesit, Hoover, all these brands seem to produce models of equal size and power consumption, they have the same 'Eco' options, and a similar control layout. They're probably manufactured in the same factory, to be honest - Price is the only variable.
Excerpt: We brought one of these Hotpoint washer-dryers and the noise level and amount of vibration from the machine when it was on its spin cycle (even at the rise stage) was appalling (yes we had removed the transit bolts!). We had to have an engineer out within a week. No problem from Hotpoint there, they replaced it within a couple of days. What the engineer said was that it sounded like the drum casing was too small for the drum.
Pros: Looks good and stylish
Cons: Noise and Vibration Steamed up LCD screen Will break itself from inside out in under a year!
Excerpt: After moving into our new property, the landlord replaced our bust washing machine with this beautiful machine! Firstly the size is great, the drum is a great dimension and can get a good size load in. We're being careful not to overfill it, but at present I haven't had a load which has been too big! I have always been suspicious of the washer/dryer combination, but I love how this one works. The digital display is very clear, and easy to use.
Exactly what we wanted within our budget, does the job well - would recommend

Excerpt: After moving into our new place we had a lot of appliances to buy on a budget, so we sourced this washer dryer from Comet for 430 GBP in October 2010 and have been using it trouble free for the last six months. We decided upon it because it had all the features we needed, was able to fit in the space we have and had a good energy efficiency rating.
Excerpt: INTRO While this isn't the prettiest household product in the world (though you can choose between graphite and silver colour-ways), it more than makes up for this in cost and performance. ENERGY EFFICIENCY Washer dryers are notoriously energy inefficient, but for those of us with a small kitchen and little drying space, we're often left with very little option but to shell out on extortionate energy bills.
Excerpt: I purchased this about 7 months ago to replace my previous washing machine and decided to get a washer dyer this time. With regards to the drying, I've never owned a dryer before so don't know if this is common but it seems to leaves creases, which are really hard to get out, with anything I put in. I have a steam generator iron and this doesn't remove them. For washing it is really good.
Excerpt: It is not easy choosing a new waser/dryer. It's a lot of money and you want to make sure you are not making a huge mistake. I did a lot of research before choosing this one and I have not been disappointed. I have had it for over 6 months, so still within the basic warranty anyway, but my last washer/dryer had problems from the start and we ended up getting rid of it after 2 years which is NOT good.
