Summary: This item is the worst pain in the butt yet. First I had to have the door replaced 6 times now the gross debris hides in the rubber ring in the door. I have cleaned it 4 times in 1 week and if 1 item gets stuck in the rubber ring it has a black ring around it! I hate this washer. Want my kenmore toploader back!!! It has stained clothes from the rubber ring not able to get it cleaned.
Summary: Currently, all Electrolux/Frigidaire built front-load washers fail prematurely, due to a design/material defect in the construction of the stainless steel tub's rear spanner support, also known as "The Spider." The corroded spider and associated bearings render ALL Frigidaire built front-load washers "junk" within a few short years!
Summary: Last year I bought this high-efficiency washer. I thought for the amount of water and electricity it used, I would save money. I guess I have, but it's hard to tell. Really, I can only go by the energy "star" ratings. However, my issue is with the clothes that get ripped. I presume the ripped clothes are from the high-speed spinning. As far as I can tell, there is nothing for the clothes to get caught on inside the washer, yet somehow, it happens.
Summary: I bought the combination washer/dryer. From day one the washer door sagged down and had to be lifted to close. I havd counted up to 20 times that the washer door having to be closed and opened before the sensor would acknowledge that the door was indeed closed. The service man has worked on it on 5 different days and it still does not work. The service tech told the repairman there is nothing they could suggest to fix the problem! WOW! How about a new washing machine?
I love it ...so far..It's been 8 months and I still love it. No problems.

Summary: I replaced my Whirlpool Duet with this Affinity. I didn't want another Whirlpool because I had to replace the pump 4 times in 5 years and the struts kept breaking so it walked all over whenever it tried to spin. So far I love this washer. I use the steam all the time and don't have to use bleach anymore. I got the extended warranty in case it breaks down like the Whirlpool. By the sound of these other reviews I'm glad I got the warranty.
Summary: Pros: None Cons: Can't store soap or softner on top or in the pedastals, Walks Across floor, Door is not reversable, Vibrates horribly, Loud, Pedastals are useless, Best Uses: Avoiding communication, Waking up sleeping babies This unit is basically difficult for regular use if you don't spend the $200 @ piece for the pedastals. That being said, the pedastals are useless.
Summary: Wish I would have read reviews. I have only had it for 16 months and it finally died...or I buried it as the repairs would be over $600. The "mother board" has been repaired and replaced, the door latch and hinge repaired both were still under warranty but finally the drum cracked to the tune of $600 3 months out of 1 year warranty. Never will I buy again ....the marching dryer has also had issues with the door sensor and have had that repaired, too.
Summary: My washer quit spinning a month before the warranty ran out, motor was replaced. I am now at 16 months ownership, the warranty has expired and it will not go thru final spin cycle and is leaking somewhere. I am a 2 person household, the last load I tried to do consisted of a lightweight jacket, a sweater and a pair of size 4 womens jeans. I investigated thru the net and the problem has been ongoing with this since at least 2006 and they have not fixed the problem.

Summary: I bought the paired set. It was great up until 6-7 months of ownership. The thing kept giving an error (motor control issue). It had trouble finishing a cycle particularly spinning. The first warranty repair service (DanMarc) wow..., the guy seemed nice enough. Well, that repair failed and I also happened to find little white plastic pieces here and there. Well, 2 wks the error came back.
Summary: I bought this washer in February as my old washer of 12 years was making load noises and was not worth repairing. It stopped working on the 22nd of Aug a faulty lock .it is almost 2 weeks later and it is still not fixed. Contacted manufacturer they recommended a company to fix it . He said that he is waiting on parts that have still not arrived. 4 young kids and no washer. I really regret buying this machine.
