Summary: I have had this machine for 20 months. Most of the time it washes clothes well. It is energy efficient and has a large capacity stainless steel tub. The machine has a two year parts and labor warranty, which I did have to use. The washer has caused me a few problems. 1.
Summary: It operates very quietly. Does not go out of balance. Does a wonderful job. Great engineering. I love the preset timer. Its awesome. Its the only kind of washer and dryer I will buy from now on and its echo friendly. I love it
Summary: I've thought about rewriting the Beach Boys song and call this one "loud vibrations". The machine literally shakes and "walks" across the floor even after it stops to have the load rebalanced. This is not a machine for in the house.
Summary: After failure of a popular name-brand washer (just three years old!), researched current models on the internet. Found consistently positive comments on the IWL16, then found a great price and rebate at AJ Madison, not to mention that Fisher & Paytel offer twice the warranty of the well-known US...
Summary: This has proven to be an excellent washer. We replaced a Maytag Neptune that managed to make it 6 years, and like the FP much better. It holds a LOT of clothes and all the features function as advertised. I have no idea how it "senses" how much water to use, but it does.
Summary: This thing sounds like an alien spaceship, it's all muted whirs and clicks and purring. It is quiet even when spinning the clothes dry and very stable. The controls seem like they are going to be complicated but really aren't.
Summary: This machine is way better than I was expecting. It does so many amazing things. One of the be best features is the delayed start. Also like the auto water fill and the save the favorite settings. I love the antimation in the screen and the count down timer. Best washer I ever owned.
