Excerpt: the salesman recommended this washer, saying that it was a great buy for a great machine. he was right! I love the roominess. I'm a mom of four kids and we are ALWAYS doing laundry....can't tell you how excited I was to try it out. And I like the little chime when a load is done. I'm also very happy with the internal light, comes in handy when searching for items I don't want to throw in the dryer. I would definitely recommend this machine to friends.
Excerpt: I have had my electrolux dryer about 6 months and would not trade it for anything I have seen. I purchased the washer about 18 months ago and was still able to perfectly match it. I am extremely pleased with both. I am amazed when I can dry a very large load of towels in 45 minutes. My children are grown and on their own now, but I still love the large size because it cuts my wash time in half.
Excerpt: I purchased this dryer because of its capacity to hold king sized comforters and the ability to select the level of dryness I want for the items drying. But because I usually like my larger items to be completely dry I was concerned that it may get scorched as it did with my previous dryer. To my surprise this dryer shuts off when my items are dry even if ther is time left on the drying cycle.
Excerpt: I love these machines. They showed up and were undamaged which was my first concern. They washing machine is very heavy so hopefully you have some help to move it. Installation was easy (we had to flip the doors which was also fairly easy). They look great. The spin cycle is extremely fast which helps to get out most of the moisture. They have several specialty cycles like pet beds, jeans, towels, etc...
Strong overall drying, but there's still one out there that's even better.

Conclusion: Objectively speaking, the Electrolux EIMED60LSS is an exceptional dryer. The cycle list is the next-to-largest we've seen, and the design—despite the silliness of the finish label—is quite sleek. With that said, its big brother, the EWMED70JIW, takes all of that and does it better. If the price gap between the two were more substantial, we might have been inclined to recommend the 60LSS to the thrifty consumer.
Excerpt: Good design and performs well. Does require a little maintenance and hygiene but with provided instructions of care are easy to follow. My wife and I love the size and the fact of being able to wash our queen size comforter. Have had this unit for over 7 months and is running great! Overall great buy for us!
Excerpt: I am very pleased with this dryer. I like the different settings that are already programmed for drying active wear, stuffed toys and warm-up. I've only used the steam option once for some curtains, but will try more. I also like that it is quick drying, energy efficient and makes fun noises when cycle is done. It is also really quiet. It is right next to my toddlers room and we can run loads at night without disturbing her - it's great!
Excerpt: I bought my front load washer and dryer on pedestals November 2010. I LOVE BOTH OF THEM! They are so quiet when they're running that you would never know I'm running them! Also, the dryer dries my clothes so much quicker than my old dryer! The steam setting comes in really handy! I also feel that the washer gets my clothes cleaner and they come out in better shape than they did in my previous washer.
