Summary: Don't do it. Within one month, washer leaked all over, was replaced. 8 months later, new washer bearing start to fail. The real horror story is the repair under warranty nightmare. Summary- repair has been going on for over 3 months, problem not resolved. Multiple parts sent- parts are invariably damaged or the wrong ones. Between Electrolux, the authorized repair service technicians and myself, total failure.
Summary: Dont buy it!!! I bought a set and they don't work and Electrolux sucks about servicing their product!!! My dryer has been under repair for the last three months and now it will be at least a week before they approve a new dryer!!!! Save yourself the non sense!!!
Summary: This washer was DOA (dead on arrival). Bought it with the intent of shipping it out of the US so I did a lot of research and read countless reviews but when I hooked up the washer, all I got on the LCD screen welcome, a beeping sound and occasional flashing of E91 (error code 91). This meant that there could be problem with the control board, or user interface, or both.
Summary: we bought a very expensive front load Electrolux (EIFLS55IIWO) washer; what a mistake. The front gasket never dries out so black mold grows on it. We have tried bleach, washer cleaner products etc. nothing helps. Electrolux's answer is they recommend cleaning the gasket after every load; in other words, you need to wash the washer every time you use it. Do not buy Electrolux.
Summary: Just because its expensive does not mean its quality. People write reviews when the items are new , but rarely after a few years . We thought we were buying the best, boy were we duped. This machine gets lite use and still it developed a hole in the "plastic drum" after 2 1/2 years. Ok so I fixed that. About 6 loads later its again pouring water out on the floor. ( not from place I fixed). Really !
Summary: We run at least two loads per day. The washer is great - large capacity and spin dry saves on the drying time. The only issue we have had is the letters have rubbed off showing what setting you are choosing - luckily the lcd panel shows what you are selecting.
Summary: I strongly agree with Vipereel on the cheap plastic. Just have the washer so not yet rate it but the pedestal, cheap piece of plastic draw lock is broke before it even get in the house. So i'm praying for the washer. For the first 2 days i own, i give the washer 5 stars and hope it stays 5 stars for awhile.
Summary: Purchased from Lowe's. Purchased based largely on reviews posted here on Amazon and throughout the web. But this is MY experience. On the 6th load of laundry, the display showed "E-13 Call Customer Service" "Great," I think to myself. I open the door to remove the clothes and toss them in the dryer before I go dig out the paperwork for the washing machine. Wait, no. I CAN'T open the door. It's STUCK! My clothes are swimming in there, they're drowning.
