Summary: I bought this very expensive washer 2 years ago and have had nothing but problems. Within a month of owning the machine it quit balancing the loads and would either spin forever or not spin at all leaving me with soaking wet clothes. In addition there was a loud knocking noise, burning rubber smell and small rubber particles all over my clothes.
Summary: After about a year...the dreaded "no water" error message starts appearing. Funny thing is it has water. If you unplug it fro about 10 minutes then start it up again it will run fine for 3-5 loads, then you get the same error again. For $800 f'ing dollars this should last at least as long as my Kenmore that is 25 years old and still going strong. Sorry I bought this junker. I will have to spend at least another $100-$200 to get this fixed. Not happy.
Summary: Purchased from Lowe's 3 1/2 years ago, with the 4 year extended warranted. No problems up until now, while washing a load of threw blankets, heard what sounded like a bin of Lego's being dumped out. After a few seconds realized it was coming from the washing machine. Stopped the washer and noticed the inside glass had shattered, though we had it on cold wash cycle it was very warm when we opened the door, after taking the cloths out of the washer 10 minutes later the...
Summary: We purchased this almost a year ago with the partner dryer to replace an ailing front loader. We have had no problems with either one. I believe that it has also lead to a minor drop in my water bill. We have also purchased the pedestals to reduce the amount of bending. The downfall to those is that it is no longer easy to stack clothes on top.
Summary: Have had this washer for about 2 yrs... Have had the door hinge replaced once and it needs it again. To open it you push in and it is supposed to pop out. After use it starts to stick (the door sags) so you must use your finger nails to open the door. Something is wrong with the design of the hinge.
Summary: Don't do it. Within one month, washer leaked all over, was replaced. 8 months later, new washer bearing start to fail. The real horror story is the repair under warranty nightmare. Summary- repair has been going on for over 3 months, problem not resolved. Multiple parts sent- parts are invariably damaged or the wrong ones. Between Electrolux, the authorized repair service technicians and myself, total failure.
