Summary: we've enjoyed nothing but trouble-free operation. We're retired so most of the time it's just the wife and I, but occasionally we're invaded by kids with kids and we really put the machines to the test. Yes, the capacity is smaller, but our little machines perform flawlessly. I read about the Bosch machines extensively before purchasing from AJ Madison. Madison's was great, the machines are great.
Summary: This machine is extremely quiet and does not vibrate the whole house while spinning. It replaced a 15 yr old Meile which heated its own water as this Bosch does. I hope it will last 15 yrs! Great so far.
Summary: This washer looks great and performs wonderfully, but I do wish it held more. There is a version with a 3.4 cubic feet load capacity (this one holds 2.1) that I would have purchased if I had realized how little it holds. The 24" stacking washer and dryer fit nicely in a condo washer/dryer closet with room to spare. Be careful about opening the washer if you're soaking something first.
Summary: Purchased for 2nd floor apartment (ceramic tile on Advantik flooring in a 100 yr old house). Walked terribly at first -- unplugged itself from the wall. Called an appliance repairman and it turned out my plumber had forgotten to remove the shipping bolts from the back of the unit! Once this problem was solved, the walking stopped. Definitely high vibration -- I purchased silent rubber feet for the unit before it arrived.
Summary: The washer is perfect, wash cycles are 45 min so I finally have clean laundry but the washer uses less water and less detergent than a traditional american toploader. In addition you can use the temperature boost to heat up the water to get the very last stain out without the need to use aggressive bleaching chemicals.
