Summary: I got the Bosch Axxis plus washer and dryer in Jan 2009. Selected this model because I really wanted a front-loader but there were space considerations, and had to have it special-ordered (from Lowe's). Also, I only have one 220V outlet, but the dryer plugs into the washer so that wasn't an issue. I've been very happy with my choice - it washes really well, has all the options I've ever needed and it's not loud.
Summary: This machine came with the house. It is efficient, but there are a couple of downsides: you cannot use bleach, it vibrates a lot, and there is a build-up of mildew in the door gasket. I have tried to keep it clean, wipe it out after every load and let the insides air dry, but to no avail. I do a lot of cold water washing, which others claim contributes to the mildew, but it does not get much better after hot washes.
Summary: It works fine for a compact (except the drain pump has now failed after about a year and a half), however as another reviewer noted the high speed whine during the spin cycle is intolerable if the machine is inside a house or apartment. We ended up building a cabinet around it which helps, but I would not buy this machine again because of the noise.
Summary: I have the Bosch Nexxt 500 and after a while the spin cycle began to leave the clothes very wet at the end. I called the dealer, who advised me to clean out the filter where the water drains from the machine. It was clogged. This is VERY POORLY DESIGNED and MUCH harder to clean than it should be.
Summary: I've had my washer for 2 weeks. I had a similiar Bosch washer before this one that finally died. We had a professional appliance technician come to the house to install it. It has worked perfectly each time, no problems. The washer is very easy to use and I love the sanitary setting, it actually heats the water up to a very high temp so you can get things really clean and disinfected. I'm giving this washer 5 stars, I love it!
Summary: I had a BOSCH since 2003 and it finally went out. Expense to repair was almost as much as a new one. Due to age we purchased a new WAS24460UC. After reading all the bad reviews, I was really scared it was going to malfunction but due to my good experience with my first one, we took the chance. We have had it since February with no problems. Remember, it is a compact. I was use to the small capacity so I knew not to overload.
Summary: Our older Bosch washer finally broke down beyond repair and we naturally went to get the latest and greatest model Bosch can offer. It is certainly a beauty and washes well. However, with the older model you could separately control and program the wash and the spin cycles. This way, we could customize the washing and get exactly right every time. With this ultra-smart new model, the washer "thinks" for you and decides what spin cycle to use based on your wash program.
Summary: "I am really enjoying my new Bosch washer! It cleans even the dirtiest laundry loads with ease and leaves my family's clothes looking fresh and clean. The features I am enjoying on my new Bosch are 1. the washer door swings open to the left, making it so much easier to move washed clothes into the dryer whose door swings open to the right, 2. the user friendly washing selections, 3.
