Summary: -Clothes smell completely putrid after washing. -The manual says don't use bleach as it will ruin the washer. -Shakes the house on the spin cycle. The main problem is the putrid mildew smell. It was fine for about 1 year. Now, to avoid the putrid smell (REALLY strong). I have to open it up once a week, manually drain the drain pump a few times, then run it through a wash cycle or two with 2 cups of vinegar before doing the next load.
Summary: I had this washer and dryer. In 8 years the washer was fixed 12 times. Finally American tv owned up to it and gave me a gift card to purchase another washer. We had to go with the Bosch again,,,,,why you ask, because the washer plugs into the stupid dryer with a european plug. Got a new one, in 2 years it already is completely shot...
Summary: We had a space problem. We had to replace one of those one-piece washer/dryer units when we moved back into our California cottage (really small). Our tenant of 6 years had broken the washer part of the one-piece and it wasn't worth fixing (and I always hated it anyway as it held little and never really cleaned well). We needed a stack unit (like Maytag Neptune used to made, I said 'used to' as they don't any longer).
Summary: I didn't buy this machine myself, this washing machine (and the corresponding dryer) came with the house I live in. But after experiencing how horrible the product is I felt I should review it for future consumers. They are the worst products ever. This washing machine does not clean the clothes well at all. Many times they come out musty, moldy smelling and more stinky then when they went in.
Summary: The absolute worst product I have ever purchased. We paid big money for the set and it cleans and drys our cloths like crap; their customer service SUCKS also. The moldy smell that comes from the washing machine is just terrible! It also shakes and moves all over the place. It is supposedly Energy Efficient, but we have to often times wash our cloths twice to get them clean and we run the dryer through three or more cycles.
Summary: We have had this washer for 10 months and it is on the third drain pump. In our home the washer needs to pump water vertically 78 inches into a lint filter. The filter then gravity drains into the waste pipe and prevents lint from entering and plugging up the septic system. Many manufacturers specify the vertical lift their pumps are capable of, and most of them specify a range of 7-10 feet of lift.
Better than the other reviews would have you believe!

Summary: We have has the Bosch under counter washer and dryer for 10 years. The motor just burned out on the washer and we are replacing it with another Bosch. All of the complaints about the smell are due to user ignorance. We had the same problem. I tried every method and product to eliminate it and could not. Then I came across one suggestion on the Internet that worked 100%.
Summary: I've had this for 4 years and use it weekly and its worked reliably so far. It runs all loads and all settings just fine. I leave the main door and the filler drawer open after use to let everything dry out. No mildew or any weird odors but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist...I just can't see or smell it. In fact, I actually had mildew developing in my old top-loader so its likely that this will eventually get it also.
Summary: They cannot figure out how to control the mildew that traps in the gasket area. Do not get sucked in by the cute size - there is NO WAY to win this mildew battle. And it just gets worse with time. I have owned 4 front loaders, all with gaskets that are similar to this and none of the others have this problem. DO NOT TORTRUE YOURSLEF.
