Summary: It drys the clothes so little ironing is required. It's quiet, the only slight down side is the door feels very flimsy. That said it's got a 2 year labour guarantee and a 5 years parts so all in all happy so far.
Summary: I agree that the height adustment mechanism is poor on this machine however, I completely disagree with the excessive drying time mentioned by some customers, Most items have dried within 40-50 mins, jeans take a little longer but, this is no longer than my other machine. I also find the noise levels low.
Summary: Only 2 intergrated dryers on the market, so went for this one -- wrong choice. The added leg bar which you need to raise the machine to the correct height to fit the door are so poor that the first time you use them they bend and buckle under the machine ( I have since read this is an on going problem ). Kitchen fitters had to stop work while we sorted the problem.
Summary: little choice but this dryer works better than our previous freestanding dryer nicely hidden behind a door so goes on relatively quietly. Beware not much room at back after fitted kitchen installed so prob have to vent straight out back not enough room to run vent 'along back of cupboards'
Summary: As already stated on previous reviews, you either have to spend a fortune on a Miele TD or buy at this end of the market. Unfortunately it backs up the saying "you get what you pay for". Our previous non integrated TD was Electrolux and never broke down once in the last 15 years. The quality of the door, the drum, the controls were far superior to this one in every way. The Electrolux would dry a bathroom set of towels in one hour, this takes nearly two hours.
Summary: Yes there is a shortage of integrated dryers on the market, but I read all the reviews on what was available from all the internet suppliers. This product had mixed reviews but I made the decision at the price it was, if it packed in after a couple of years it would be cheap enough to replace. Product arrived and it was the same as the Howden unnamed model that came with my fitted kitchen. I am an Aerospace Engineer and I consider the product good value for the price.
Summary: There appear to be only two integrated tumble dryers available in UK therefore no real choice. It was to replace an earlier model of the same one fitted in our kitchen when we had it refurbished 7 year ago. Of course when they cut out the hinges on the cupboard door, the door seems then to only fit that one machine.
Summary: There arent many integrated tumble dryers out there so there is not much choice on the market like other appliances. That said it does the job and has been a godsend, especially with the growing family and lack of drying space!
