Summary: I've had this machine for years now in a NYC Coop apartment. I keep it in a hall closet across from a bathroom. I wheel it out when I want to use it and park it outside the bathroom door, hook it up to the sink and drain it into the bathtub. I put one of those hair catchers over the drain in the tub to collect any lint that might get past the interior filter. I have never stopped up the tub or had any problem with the 1939 plumbing.
Summary: I have a number of these machines in rental apartments. When they work, they work well. Like most Chinese stuff, they are cheap, unreliable and difficult to service. The controls are all electronic. If they break, throw out the machine. Parts are readily available, but only by phone through Avanti in Florida. IF you are used to going on line or to an appliance parts guy to get parts, forget it.
I loved the machine how it ran so good the lid sucks and broke

Summary: This is my 3rd Avanti washer one lasted 5 yrs and the other 4 yrs This last one not so good !!!! Didn't last 6 months. Just 1 person in a apt no kids or big family so it wasn't getting over loaded or over used. They changed the lid and the lid broke couldn't be repaired so Avanti is supposed to replace. I had to send all this paper work and a $10.00 processing fee. I sent over night $8.00 and they were closed and never followed up with getting the info redelivered.
Summary: GOOD AND BAD Quiet machine, washes REALLY GOOD,you can roll it from room to room. Easy to use and understand the function(operating) buttons. But-But BAD- hoses, the hoses are so so frkn cheap! they leaked all over the floor, I had to buy some metal hoses(heavy duty)that was frustrating..extra money from my pocket.....the wheel set didn't give a lot of play to roll the machine....another annoying thing. Now that's being used.
Summary: I got a lemon, in less than a year it started giving me problems.......Had it service and it is as if nothing was repaired. In between washes it indicates E4. I have to turn her off and start the wash all over again.....A 25 minute wash can take up to an hour and half.
I purchased the machine at PC Richards and paid $100 for 5 years of maintenance. The so call part that they replaced took up to a month....meantime I was without a washer.....
Summary: Because I live an apartment building I purchased this about two years ago. It is a wonderful machine I usually wash once a week and we have a family of two. As stated in the above review you really cant leave this machine unattended due to balance it will spin across the room during the spin cycle which isn't a problem you simply wash your clothes when you will be home.
Summary: You CAN NOT leave your wash alone if you buy an AVANTI washer. They don't make washers with agitators, so the pulse mode does not clean as normal washers do, if you're used to regular machines with agitators in the middle. I used to have a portable washer, easy to "click" onto the faucet, with a snap-on head on the hose. This has a screw-on mode, and if you don't watch out, water will leak and spray out (mine even spray onto the cabinets!).
Summary: wife likes this machine, however it does not wringout jeans because they get tangled up. we also had a problem with the waterhose adapter to the faucet. this adapter was the wrong thread so it leaked. we found the correct adapter at the local hardware for 5.00 this machine runs smooth and is quiet. we feel it was a good purchase for the price.
