Great hot fresh waffles in the morning, nothing better!

Excerpt: I love hot fresh waffles in the morning (one of the best parts of staying at a hotel with free breakfast!), with this waffle maker you can bring that experience home. Makes fresh waffles with audible alarm for turning, never burns and works great!
Summary: So disappointing. A friend gave this waffle iron to us because our old one (which we'd had for at least 10 years) broke and she wasn't using hers. She'd only used it once or twice. We used it about three times before it got hopelessly jammed at a 90 degree angle.
Summary: I gave this 3 stars because we loved how it worked and cooked the waffles perfect. We have had it for little over a year. Then the rotary part started sticking, locking it so you couldn't flip it over.
Summary: Chose West Bend over Black and Decker, seems to have been a mistake. Used one or two times per month and cheap plastic handle broke after six months. I have just contacted the manufacturer and I will see how they address this failure before making final judgement, but at this point, I wish that I...
Summary: Well reading the reviews prompted me to buy this little beast... let me tell ya, the price doesn't justify the grief! After meticulously following the instructions for first time use, the waffles stuck, and were a real pain to get out, in dozens of pieces.
Summary: This is a terrible waffle maker. The handle broke only on the 3rd waffle on the first use. The rotary part is stuck and no longer work. The temperature nob is about to break too. This is a really poor design. Don't bother buying this product. It's just a waste of your money.
Summary: Bought this waffle maker to replace an older West Bend model which basically wore out after 15 years and 2 kids. The second time we used it the handle got stuck and would not rotate far enough to release the waffle. trying to work it loose the handle cracked and fell off.
