Summary: I don't follow the green is ready light. I found by trial and error that 4 minutes is about right to cook the batter mix I use. Build quality is average with lots of plastic parts. And it is a bit flimsy but still functional. I like that the metal plates overlap the plastic.

Summary: Waffles come out great. I've been using this for more than a year and it still makes the same quality waffles since day 1. I always leave it on the darkest mode, the other settings leave the batter no very well cooked.
Summary: Inexpensive (when I bought it) I found it made terrific waffles, which is why I bought it and why I like it. ' BUT There are some cautions that can enhance its use... .. ! ' The instructions say "wait until the green light comes back on" which for me left the waffles undercooked.
Excerpt: After fighting for years with waffles sticking in my old waffle maker I decided to try this type. I like this one because it was affordable so I wasn't wasting money on another one that did work. My whole family was really impressed with this little waffle maker.
Summary: This thing did not work well. No matter how much waffle mix we put in it, it leaked out everywhere. We put so little it barely made a waffle with holes everywhere and it still also oozed out the sides. It doesn't get caught on the plate included, either.
Great waffle maker, and I think we have had it at least 2 years?

Summary: Still works great....easy in every respect. Quick to start, easy to clean.....was very inexpensive.....and this is from a cuisinart user, but this was a fraction....a third to a fourth of what a cuisinart would have cost.
Summary: We use this often and we love it! I have not had any issues with it at all!! It cleans up well and makes perfect waffles! I love the drip tray when I accidentally overfill it. I would highly recommend it and it didn't cost us a LOT either!
