Great Mic and SpeakerCombo

David C. Miller "dcrashdummy64", Amazon
28 May 2014
  • Summary: These are great little mic and speaker USB combo. The volume is good for a desktop user to use during a VoIP call and the auto noise cancel feature is FANTSTIC. Only catch is if you plug an external speaker into the unit. This tends to cause the noise cancel feature to not work so well. The mic picks up sound really well. Placed on a desk, normal speaking volume can still be recieved over 8 feet away. anything over 10 and it starts to get kinda light unless you speak up.

  • Summary: Easy to set-up, easy to use. We use it in a teleconferencing application and it works flawlessly over a wireless connection. No delays and crystal clear communication.

A great tool for Go To Meetings.

Frank Childs "Babalu's Dad", Amazon
16 April 2014
  • Summary: We use GoToMeeting at work, but the tiny microphone and speakers on my laptop aren't very useful when multiple people are in the room with the pc and we're meeting with another group off site. This little box has both a built-in microphone and a speaker powerful enough to be heard across the room.

Works well on Mac (Os X) and Windows (W8-8.1)

Robert Hernandez, Amazon
13 January 2014
  • Summary: The device is quickly detected and the device becomes immediately usable on both Mac OS X and Windows 8 (and 8.1). The quality is above-average for the price point, but is still not as good as devices at the next price point (say $150+). But as a portable device you can use without the need for external speakers -- its speaker fills a decent sized room pretty well -- you can't go wrong.

  • Summary: Speech quality was not great. Not omnidirectional. There are better products out there such as ClearOne Chat 160 Group Speakerphone.

great speakerphone

J. Bedard, Amazon
15 November 2013
  • Summary: This is a great plug and play speakerphone. The echo/feedback cancelation is excellent. (People who are talking to you do not hear an echo of themselves.) I use it for most of my conference calls because I get tired of wearing a headset. It works best in a quiet room. On the downside, if you have a loud fan, people might not be able to hear you because of the noise cancellation. The volume could be louder.

Used for VoIP

Barry, Amazon
19 September 2013
  • Summary: This is a great product for small conferences where everyone is within 1.5m of the mic. Beyond 2 meters and people will need to talk louder to be heard on the other end. I've used it for a conference call with 14 people, some up to 3m from the mic and we ended up having to move the mic for the speaker to be heard on the other end. Highly recommended. Works good for music in a pinch, but obviously doesn't have the bass output. Truly plug-and-play.
