Summary: We use a few of these boxes at work. I bought one for home. It has a really sweet sound. One of the best I have heard for a small USB speakerphone mic/speaker. It is worth the extra money that it costs compared to other products you could buy.
Summary: Absolutely works great for us. We use it as a conference Mic for three people in one location. We did find that we needed to add some sort of isolation under the unit (We used a pot holder, then replaced that with a piece of 1/4 rubber like a mousemat). The unit was picking up every bump of the table. No real big deal, just needed to isolate the unit to work better for everyone with a quick fix. So: Looks great. Works great. No real complaints.
Summary: These are great little mic and speaker USB combo. The volume is good for a desktop user to use during a VoIP call and the auto noise cancel feature is FANTSTIC. Only catch is if you plug an external speaker into the unit. This tends to cause the noise cancel feature to not work so well. The mic picks up sound really well. Placed on a desk, normal speaking volume can still be recieved over 8 feet away. anything over 10 and it starts to get kinda light unless you speak up.
Summary: We use GoToMeeting at work, but the tiny microphone and speakers on my laptop aren't very useful when multiple people are in the room with the pc and we're meeting with another group off site. This little box has both a built-in microphone and a speaker powerful enough to be heard across the room.
Summary: The device is quickly detected and the device becomes immediately usable on both Mac OS X and Windows 8 (and 8.1). The quality is above-average for the price point, but is still not as good as devices at the next price point (say $150+). But as a portable device you can use without the need for external speakers -- its speaker fills a decent sized room pretty well -- you can't go wrong.
