Summary: i bought it because i am in a large industrial lab with plenty of echo. it did not noticeably cancel out any echos bettehr than my webcam microphone. oh, keep in mind it usb only with no other audio jack. stupidly expensive speaker phone. sent it back right away.
Summary: This is a great plug and play speakerphone. The echo/feedback cancelation is excellent. (People who are talking to you do not hear an echo of themselves.) I use it for most of my conference calls because I get tired of wearing a headset. It works best in a quiet room. On the downside, if you have a loud fan, people might not be able to hear you because of the noise cancellation. The volume could be louder.
Summary: We use this in our office for meetings over the net, live and interactive. Great for videos as your main speaker and mic. Easy to set-up, basically plug and use. I highly recommend this product for either home or office use.
Summary: This is a great product for small conferences where everyone is within 1.5m of the mic. Beyond 2 meters and people will need to talk louder to be heard on the other end. I've used it for a conference call with 14 people, some up to 3m from the mic and we ended up having to move the mic for the speaker to be heard on the other end. Highly recommended. Works good for music in a pinch, but obviously doesn't have the bass output. Truly plug-and-play.
Summary: We use this with Blackboard Collaborate and Microsoft Lync in a small conference room or classroom. It works well for as many as 10 people around a conference table, or at the front of a classroom to capture the instructor or even several instructors. Great product at a great price!
Summary: Phoenix makes a very good speakerphone with good echo cancellation and noise suppression. Best of all it does not require any drivers to be installed. I've used it on Windows, Mac, and Linux without issue.
Summary: Perfect for video conferencing with small grandchildren. It eliminates echoing, dramatic raising and lowering of speaking volume, and it provides natural voice pitch and resonances. Previously our conversations needed wait times to give our systems time to adjust to the high pitched vocalizations of young children. Works well with laptop computers or off HD televisions. Convenient set up and breakdown. Expensive but VERY worth the outlay of money.
Summary: I purchased the Duet because I do a lot of conference calls on skype. Right out of the box it was so easy to set up it only took a few minutes. The sounds quality was amazing there was no echo and since the duet operates in full duplex mode you could hear every part of the conversation without it sounding like it's cutting in and out. The controls are very simple just a volume up and down and a mute button.
