Summary: Not only did Walmart have the most competitive price but they have their "ship to store" program, which works like a charm (I've used it three times now). Panasonic simply makes excellent equipment that works. The features of this model phone are great. There are variations for the home and small office at very competitive prices.
Summary: It takes a little time to learn which button to push, and when to push it, to maximize the many features this phone has to offer but it is worth the investment of time. I like the idea that you don't need some obscure battery should they ever need replacement. Rechargeable "AA"'s are pretty easy to come by. Quality of incoming calls are clear, but I have not asked others how I sound to them.
Summary: This is a good looking phone with all the bells and whistles you might want. I have the corded phone in my bedroom and the cordless in the living room. Set up took all of ten minutes. I was really pleased with the purchase.
Summary: My mother and I have owned two sets of the same phone as listed above. We absolutely love it and all it's features. Even though we choose not to have voice mail through our phone company, it still is an awesome machine with text you can see both on the cordless handset and main unit. Being able to plug the charging base anywhere is a huge plus.
Summary: While a friend of mine had problems w/ her other phone I took it upon myself to find another phone for her. I have owned exactly 2 phones since late 1900's. Both have been Panasonic. I have anticipated spending more than I did and that was a nice surprise for my friend. The price of the Panasonic has declined while the quality has remained the same. My friend is an elderly woman so I got the phone that was a land line.
