Summary: This phone is cheaply constructed junk. It's big, blocky, and the menus move really slowly. It's riddled with usability problems. If you want to see your recent call list it takes around two minutes to display it, while skype on a computer does this instantly. If you ever reset this device good luck getting it set up again, I found it refused my correct password at least 20 times.
Summary: I had to send this back after a year. Too many people kept asking me if I had a problem with my phone as the quality was appaling. When I spoke to NetGear, they told me I had a reconditioned unit as there was no serial number on the back. NetGear's support department passed me to their customer services, who 'for my convenience' operated a call-back facility.
Summary: I have had this phone (with extra handset) for about a year. As soon as I bought it I identified a number of issues, some of which have been discussed in other reviews. I have raised all of them with NetGear support and none of them have been resolved. I have dealt with many 'bad service' organizations before, but NetGear's support of this product is special in that it is exists as bunch of resources (off shore) but it does not exist as support.

Summary: I bought the SPH200D a year ago to keep in touch with my family abroad. At the time, there weren't many options for Skype phones, and this one seemed to be the best on offer. I use the phone for both Skype and landline local calls. The setup and user interface on the phone were straight forward and simple enough. In addition, the phone provides a web page interface to set up preferences, which was really nice.

Summary: Bought this phone at end of September 2007. SPH200 did not recognise when landline calls were answered on another phone in the house and continued to ring after call answered. It then listed call as a "Missed call" Six weeks of trying for solution on Netgear on-line help finally produced agreement to change the phone.
