Summary: This phone is cheaply constructed junk. It's big, blocky, and the menus move really slowly. It's riddled with usability problems. If you want to see your recent call list it takes around two minutes to display it, while skype on a computer does this instantly.
Summary: all simple to set up.I am an internet idiot and I managed in with in 10 mins. Issues that I have are if you have a skype landline number you do not get full caller ID coming in to you.You do get the number but even if the name of the caller is in your handset it will not come up when it rings - this...
Summary: Good points Love it, so convenient not having to go to the office or have the PC on. Different ring tone for BT and skype also can use BT line and skype at the same time - obviously different phones. Excellent Bad points None yet had it for two weeks and no problems at all.
Summary: Good points Battery Life Great - used for hour and half without making dent in battery - previous dect phones have always started to bleep after 30 to 45 minutes... Skype setup excellent and easy.
Summary: Good points easy to set up already had skype so just pluged it in and logged onto skype account, that's it. No more turning the computer on to make/receive skype calls. Good sound quality, easy to use. Bad points ring tones, sound like a three year olds electric organ
Summary: I've spent money on VOIP phones and with VISTA bugging with them all the time decided to buy the Netgear. Plug in and use it - how easy? I'm impressed with it despite the dodgy ringtones. There aren't any alternatives yet unless you want to spend £100's.
Summary: I had to send this back after a year. Too many people kept asking me if I had a problem with my phone as the quality was appaling. When I spoke to NetGear, they told me I had a reconditioned unit as there was no serial number on the back.
Summary: Good points Easy to use and set up. You can use one phone for Skype and one for land line at the same time. Clear colour screen with intuitive menus. Bad points Perhaps a few alternative or downloadable ring tones would be a nice touch but there are some which are fine for everyday use.
