What a real VOIP phone looks like!

Shane S., Newegg
18 February 2015
  • Summary: Overall, the product and functions are sound, and perfect for a small business using services like RingCentral or Vocalocity.
  • Pros: We made the mistake of purchasing lower valued phones made by others on auction sites, and provided by our phone service. I finally got fed up and went looking for a real phone that didn't break the bank. Enter the Cisco 504, and man are they great! I ordered 4 of them and I'll be ordering more! ...
  • Cons: I don't like the fact that you have to order a separate power cord for the phone if you don't use a PoE injector. Hence the 1 egg deduction. I feel that the phone requires power, so it should come with an included power cord.

Excellent quality and great value

Daryl M., Newegg
14 August 2013
  • Pros: Cisco is certainly a well known brand with a very good reputation. However, these devices certainly prove out that pedigree. They have proven to be very reliable, and work great. I've been using them with 3CX software on a Windows Server and they have been flawless. Any issues I've encountered ar...
  • Cons: While it does not come with a compatible power adapter, it is understandable since this is a device that is compatible with PoE for those who choose that option. Otherwise if you are not using PoE, then be sure to also order the Cisco PA100-NA adapter to go with it. The only real CON with this de...

Excellent VoIP Phone

Robert M., Newegg
12 January 2011
  • Summary: Previous user complained that phone did not come with power adapter. This is common place for PoE devices. Power adapter for this phone is listed under LinkSys here. You are looking for the PA100-NA if you do not have a PoE source.
  • Pros: Easy to configure. Speakerphone is excellent! SPA5XX series are known for speakerphone performance. PoE works flawlessly. The phone just works as you would expect!
  • Cons: Making configuration changes requires phone to reboot. You can how ever make several changes spanning multiple screens and apply the changes after you are done which will reboot the phone. This also effects the ethernet port used for connectivity for other devices like your computer if you are us...
