  • Summary: I’ve said a lot of good and bad things about these individual units.  Still yet, I hope you leave this review with the impression that they are all capable for capturing quality audio in a variety of scenarios.  Each of these units are certainly professional audio recorders – even if they’re on the low end of the market.

  • Excerpt: Tascam has been in the recording business for more than 30 years. The company produced the first 4-track cassette recorder, R-DAT machine and multitrack MiniDisk recorder, products that helped make the home recording studio a reality. Although there hasn’t been a first from the company for quite a while, it has still been very active, focusing largely on developing portable and mobile recorders.
