Summary: the price sounds really steep, however you're getting recording quality far beyond what any small device offers (including top smart phones) and not that far from professional equipment that you pay top dollar for. It's really good value for money. Won't be disappointed.
Summary: I wanted a device to record sound from a video oriented field mixer. The DR-07, using both the mic input and the line input, and a quality external mic and mixer, does a great job of recording sound. If you use the built-in microphones, the results are not as good.

Summary: I have a small rehearsal space in my finished basement that I wanted to use to not only practice with my bandmates, but be able to record what we did so that I could email it to everyone after each practice so that we could work on what we did.
Summary: Easy to use low cost rehearsal recorder. I like it! Set it and forget it. The difference between the this and the more expensive is the quality of the limiter and mikes. But for just recording song ideas and rehearsal reviews, nothing beats it!
