I used it for lectures, my classroom is small, I sit at the 2nd row in front of my professor but the sounds recored were low, and picked up the background noises. I haven't gone through all the paces with this yet, but I'm impressed with sound quality from the internal mics and overall ease of use. I save a lot of time and headaches by using the generous internal storage versus swapping out memory cards. Just plug the device into the USB. It shows up on the desktop. Drag and Drop. I bought it for lecture. It records professor's voice quite well. However, in a large class room, recording quality is that so good but it is still audible. It has a mp3 player function which is pretty nice. Earphone looks cheap and not so good. There's no carrying case. Transferring voice file using USB port is quite easy. Included USB cable is almost useless. I think they should include a carrying case instead. Read more
I bought this recorder for use in my church. I needed it for several purposes. I record board meetings in our conference room. I simply hit the record button and lay it in the middle of our table. The internal microphones have amazing clarity and pickup. The dual microphones are for stereo, but it also helps in picking up more voices in the room. I also use it for recording sermons.
