Summary: I bought this at a local Walmart about 3 years ago specifically for use in a recording session where a decidedly lo-fi result was desired. I paid approximately $20.00 plus tax for it. A true ripoff.
WHEN I HAD IT IN MY HAND AND TURNED IT IT SOUND LIKE THE WHOLE MECANISM WAS LOOSE INSIDE

Summary: HONESTLY, WHEN I RECEIVED THE PRODUCT IT WAS NOT WHAT I ORDERED. I ORDERED MODEL RCA RP 3503 REFURNISHED, AND GOT MODEL RP 3504. ON THE SCREEN IT SAID WITH MICROPHONE AND WALL CONNECTOR(WHICH I DID NOT GET).
Electronics Warehouse sent something I didn't order.

Summary: Through Amazon I ordered #RP 3503 because I needed a tape player that has a counter built into it. Electronics Warehouse sent a cheaper version, #RP 3504 with no counter. I have returned it for credit.
Summary: The thing I'm most disappointed about this tape recorder is that when I talk into it, my voice sounds somewhat shaky when I play back the recording. It almost makes me sound as if I am "nervous".
Summary: I bought this recorder for a 93 year young friend. She is a good Christian friend of the family. She really like it. I got it so she can record some reading from the Bible. She said it was easy to use and she like the little counting no. on it,
