Summary: Voice recognition drastically reduces if you don't speak slowly and clearly. It's less effective than google voice recognition, and couldn't effectively translate 3 of 4 professor's voices. It's really meant to recognize YOUR voice and not other's.
Summary: I bought this, hoping the Dragon Naturally Speaking, would record my class lectures onto print. Upon receipt, it said "Not used for lectures." I might have missed it, but I didn't see that part on the advertisement page. No problem. I tried the Dragon naturally Speaking using my voice.

Summary: Have you ever accompanied a friend or family member to a doctor's appointment to discuss an upcoming surgery or treatment options? Maybe you've been in that position yourself. Or perhaps you've visited a Veterinarian with a pet and have had questions you needed answered.
Summary: I have two sons that have done a lot with voice recorders, each having their own and working with them extensively for recording all manner of things (frequently that means rude noises, but hey, they're allowed).
Summary: I wasn't sure what to think of the Philips Digital Voice Tracer because it feels lightweight and cheap, unlike the feel of a cell phone. It's small but thicker then I would have expected a tapeless recorder to be. The screen is old school but it works.
