Summary: I picked up one of these used at a yard sale about 10 years ago. If this is the exact same one and it sure does look exactly the same I will say this. I do not want to say what I paid for it since it is going for 149. However, the way that it works and the high quality shows that is well worth it.
It is portable so I could leave it on the Piano and record myself easily. It's great for self-recording and since cassette tapes

Summary: Very classical recorder and player. I have not gotten the chance to use this much yet, but it comes in handy with cassettes as I have plenty of cassette players at home. It is portable so I could leave it on the Piano and record myself easily.
Summary: This review is for: Panasonic Portable Cassette Recorder Player (Electronics) My model is RQ-2850. I've had it for decades and it continues to work and play well with others. It's very stable and durable, and can even withstand being dropped now and then without cracking or malfunctioning.
Summary: I would have to say 'YES', but I only use it to record audio tapes for a friend in another state that does not have a computer and we generally have too much to write so we send tapes back and forth. For that, it seems to do the job fine.
Summary: They shipped the model that look similar,That is Model RQ2102,a cheaper one.But I could not find the model number for the one I ordered,If I returned the wrong item, and ordered again, I might get the RQ2102 again. So I keep the RQ2102 which is not bad a all.
Summary: A great cassette player/recorder that works like a charm. The construction feels solid to me and the speaker sounds clear as a bell. I'm hooking this up to my computer and transferring some old tapes I have to CD. And this player is so good I'll even transfer some audio CD's to cassette!
Summary: I don't write many reviews, but I felt compelled to write this one. First off, kudos to the vendor who is still selling this "retro" product. I know we have hi-tech digital recorders and what not. I own and use them too.
