Summary: Great little voice recorder, I use it to record nearly all my classes. Only downside is that it does eat through batteries, so far I've changed the battery twice in 8 weeks but I am a very heavy user recording 17.5 hours each week. It is especially good if your professor talks quietly and you don't like sitting in the front of the class. I could hear everything even with the professor moving around the room and often not facing the recorder.
Summary: This is a great digital voice recorder. I use it to record my college lectures, then play them back in my car to and from school. The recording quality is good, even in a large lecture hall. I play the recordings back either through headphones or the car's audio system. There are a lot of options for adjusting the equalizer, noise reduction, recording properties, ect. The scene index button is useful for jumping to particular points in the recoding during playback.
Summary: POOR recording sensitivity. I thought dual microphone should perform better than a typical recorder. Not so with this model, or at least my unit. When trying to record in a class, I could hardly hear the teacher's voice in the recording. The recorded voice is also distorted into a higher pitch sound. I bought this unit from a third party seller. Otherwise, I would have returned this piece of junk.
