Good recorder, minor flaws, but nothing is perfect.

Summary: This is a great recorder and gives a good quality recording. It's not the same as a serious digital recorder (marantz PMD 660 or equal) but it will allow you to record a meeting or make personal notes. The batteries last a very long time but when you run low on battery, it will not let you do anything until they are changed. I have been recording with no problem but when I stop the recording, I can'[t re-start without changing the battery.
Summary: I bought this product, like many other users, to record lectures. I was also interested in the fact that it has a specific function to be able to record music also. Though I have not tried recording music yet, I have captured several lectures and have found this to be a very decent product. The one thing I don't like though is that it picks up EVERY single sound in the room...
Summary: Really like this recorder; would like for this to have the option of playing MP3 recordings or have a program offered on their website that converts an MP3 to their .WMA recordings. This does not allow MS-110 or WS-211 recorders's battery pack to transfer replacement batteries to replace them, when needed. If a new battery is needed, and the recorder is not watched, there is no warning, it just shuts off, however, the battery does last over ten hours...
Summary: Olympic recorders are one of the best devices. i like that the recorder battery last longer on this particular item, feels very solid, can be dependable. Dont buy any recorder that is lower than this model because its not worth it in the long run.
Summary: This is the second one of these recorders that I have purchased. The first one that I bought was a refurbished one direct from Olympus. It came with a 90-day warranty. You guessed it - within days of being OUT OF WARRANTY, the LCD screen failed. Olympus wanted more to repair it than what I paid for it to begin with! I like the quality of the sound recording enough to buy another one but this time I bought a NEW one with a full one year warranty.
Summary: I found this to be a great pocket recorder! It was ready to use right out of the box, after installing the batteries, of course. It is very simple to understand the instructions and I had no problems following them. I was surprised to find that the sound quality of the recorder itself is much better than expected when played through headphones or on your computers speakers.
Summary: Purchased 6 of these along with 6 TP-7 telephone recording devices and 6 ME-52W noise canceling mics for use by a criminal investigations unit. We've only had them about two weeks now but have already used the recorder in shirt pockets to record conversations. It works good through the fabric of the pocket recording people up to about 6 feet away but is a bit faint at that distance.
Pros: Compact Design, Easy use and small size, Reliable
Summary: OK! I bought this pre owned product and didnt expect much. When I got it I was amazed! It works and looks brand new! It is conveniently small and it has a lot of cool festures. My favorite is the VCVA option. When there is no sounds it will stop recording so you're not left with lots of gaps and silent spaces.
Summary: I purchased this to record music lessons and jam sessions. I play bluegrass and wanted something quick and easy but wasn't worried about audiophile quality. The recordings sound much better through headphones or computer speakers than through the device speakers - but hey - that's how I planned to use it.
The feature set is good and it is easy to transfer recordings. Also works well as a music play too.
