Summary: I purchased the Olympus WS300 Handheld Digital Voice Recorder to take notes. I'd owned this same recorder before and therefore already knew that it is perfect for taking notes, recording reminders, making grocery lists, etc. It is also great for recording music to listen to later.
Summary: This little device was perfect for college classes. It recorded lectures so I could re-listen at my own convenience. I also used it for interviews for class assignments. It is so small and easy to use. Now I take it with me whenever I travel. It was an excellent investment.
Summary: The best recorder i have ever owned. Captures crystal clear sound from a distance as well as up close and can record through material so in pocket recording at a meeting or class is perfect and it cant be any easier to use! A+++
Summary: This is a wonderful little recorder; I'm a reporter and used to record interviews; they come out quite well. Yesterday I even recorded some speeches that people made at a ceremony outside - dozens of people stood around me and talked, cars passed by and the sound was still great.
Summary: My wife likes it alot. She uses for classes. It has clear sound and it lights up. When you use headphones with it sound even more clear. I like te fact that it is so small too. It could have more recording space but it is what it is. Great little recorder.
Summary: I currently own this model, which I bought for a much lower price at Radio Shack. But I want to start doing Podcasts and this unit does not record in the mp3 format. If you try to convert the saved file using audacity, the program asks you to send the file as raw data.
Summary: I couldn't open my purchase until it was too late to return it and when I did I discovered the front was all scratched...which wouldn't bother me, but the viewing window is badly scratched....so much so that at certain angles it's hard to see.
