Olympus Digital Voice Recorder

caswest, shopping.com
5 March 2004
  • Excerpt: I bought this voice recorder to replace a bulky tape voice recorder. The machine is compact and fits easily into a shirt pocket. It is light in weight yet has a solid feel and fits neatly into the palm of the hand. All the controls are on the front for easy access, but can be fiddly to use.
  • Pros: Compact size, light weight.
  • Cons: Short recording times, very poor sound quality on long play which limits usefulness.

indigogirl, shopping.com
17 December 2000
  • Excerpt: Most writers, I've figured out after many a case of writer's block, don't have their best ideas when they're sitting in front of the computer waiting for inspiration to strike. How nice it would be if life were that easy!
  • Pros: Its incredibly small size and light weight
  • Cons: For eighty bucks, the sound should be a little better
