Summary: I honestly purchased this digital voice recorder for ghost hunting (don't judge!). I purchased it because of the reviews stating that it has clear audio and a folder system, both are true. I've tested and used the recorder on several occasions and have been impressed with the quality of sound.
Summary: Easy to use. Good sound quality, though I haven't been able to put it extensively to the test yet. I'm planning to use it for language learning--recording short sound bytes for vocabulary and phrase mastery. Meets my expectations...and for a great price!
Summary: I just use it for basic use. It records in the high quality mode for 25 hours and five minutes straight on one folder for both the VN-8000PC and the VN-702PC. I don't know why they rate it at the low quality mode just to have a bigger hours number.
Summary: Its a cool little recorder. I have to start off by saying I love how I can upload my recordings to the computer. my older model Olympus recorder don't have that feature, however the older model I have records more clear then this one...
Summary: Small, easy to use and picks up voices from comfortable distances. For the price I can't see a better alternative. Connecting to my laptop was a snap and the file storage system is cool. 1 gig for voice recording is pretty for basically anything unless you're recording the Bible for the blind.
