Summary: I really like this recorder... excellent features, functionality, and easy to use. Although I'm starting to wish I spent the extra $20 on a USB port. But if you don't need to have mp3s of your recordings, this is definitely a good choice of recorder!!
Excerpt: The only drawback to this recorder is that you might find out that you wish you had spent more money for something with more features. It is about the cheapest dictation recorder I could find on a short search. On a whim I took it to a night club with a band and it is fun to be able to record the evening's music, but you can only listen to it played back on one ear plug and the music is a bit tinny.
Pros: Compact Design, High Quality Sound, Long Battery Life
Summary: This is a great recorder with excellent audio, intuitive operation, great size. It easily records messages with a quick press of the red (start) button and white (end) button (also has voice-activated feature but I don't need that). It is easy to erase one recorded message or all. There are various folders you can keep your recordings in. I don't completely shut it off but leave it on standby. It takes (2) AAA batteries or AAA Ni-MH rechargeable batteries.
Summary: Hi All, I purchased this to use for my masters thesis but was disappointed to see that there was no way I could plug in the recorder to my laptop to take the recordings out of the system. However, the sound quality is great, the battery lifetime too is very encouraging and the fact that it is small and cute makes it even more a worthy product.
Summary: This recorder is very simple and easy to operate. I still have not read the instruction booklet. I opened the packaging, placed the batteries and started to use it. I use this recorder for short notes throughout my day. I have had some medical problems come up and my vision has become unreliable, making lists and notes hard to write or read. With the very poor vision, this recorder is very easy to operate and use. The battery life seems to be very good.
