Summary: I really like this recorder... excellent features, functionality, and easy to use. Although I'm starting to wish I spent the extra $20 on a USB port. But if you don't need to have mp3s of your recordings, this is definitely a good choice of recorder!!
Excerpt: I bought this for recording interviews and have been using it for a month. If it dies within the 1 year warranty period, I would have received my money's worth.

It worked well with the internal, external and the Olympus telephone pickup microphone (don't forget to say you are recording the conversation).
Excerpt: The only drawback to this recorder is that you might find out that you wish you had spent more money for something with more features. It is about the cheapest dictation recorder I could find on a short search. On a whim I took it to a night club with a band and it is fun to be able to record the evening's music, but you can only listen to it played back on one ear plug and the music is a bit tinny.
Pros: Compact Design, High Quality Sound, Long Battery Life
Excerpt: When I went to the local store to purchase, the box did not contain the mic and earbud. When I showed the clerk their website saying it contained these items, he tried to sell me a mic for 32.99. He would not make good what is advertised. Don't buy unless you open box to make sure of it's contents.
Excerpt: It seams like a solid product has a good balanced feel. I was about to put batteries in (it takes 2 AAA not labeled on the box)when i realized that there was no way to get the recordings off the recorder to a computer. Seems kind of important to me especially since it says digital voice recorder you would think there would be a way to get the recordings off. So i never did get to trying the rest of it.
