Summary: The product arrived weeks before the 'estimated' delivery date and was a fair price, the item itself is not hard to work with once you get the hang of it and it is clear and concise when play-back is used, though there seems to be only one volume.
Summary: This is my second VN-5000. I had lost my first one for several weeks before finding it at the bottom of my washing machine, apparently having gone through a complete wash cycle. While quite clean, it refused thereafter to record anything.

Summary: The button sequence could confuse you if you are not a frequent user. For me it is not "intuitive" enough. I am 65 and suspect that my 13 year old grandson could operate it with his eyes closed.

Summary: It was OK for what I wanted it for. I used it to bug my husband's truck when he was cheating on me. The only thing is I thought it was voice activated and it wasn't. Turn it on and it stays on until you come back to get it or it runs out of time. It will record for about 22 hours.
