Summary: CAUTION; This identical recorder (VN-100) is offered at 1/3 this price of $90 a few pages further in on Amazon. I have no idea why the disparity in price. (My review of the recorder itself is written there.) Although the other listing does not state it is a VN-100 I can verify it is, because I bought one from that seller on Amazon.
Summary: I was looking for an inexpensive digital recorder to use for recording interviews. I don't need to save recordings on my computer so didn't need to pay extra for that feature, and there's plenty of storage on the recorder for my needs. For this item, the price was great and the package is compact and cute to boot. Price was my prioroty, but I also wanted something relatively attractive.
Summary: I purchased this recorder to surreptitiously record conversations with my doctors. They speak more quickly than I listen. Now I can replay the conversations and be certain to understand their instructions and information. This recorder works well. It has no way to connect to a PC or other recorder to make a permanent copy of the conversation, but I knew that limitation before purchasing it. That may be the reason for the low price when compared to other models.
Summary: I bought this digital recorded because I thought it was a great price until i showed up at school and the other students had similar (cute and small) recorders but they had a USB connection, so that the recordings could be saved to the computer. Good quality recording though.
