Summary: This, in my estimation, is the Cadillac of miniature Stereo Digital Recorders. All three of the microphones are extremely sensitive! It has a bundle of different recording features (WAV, MP3, etc.) for recording EXACTLY the quality of sound that you want.
Excerpt: I use this little recorder as a back-up audio every day for my work as a court reporter. In most settings, I do not even need an external microphone. It is very user-friendly, and the 2 AA batteries last almost the whole week without being replaced. This is a great value for the price.
Excerpt: Small and thin enough to easily fit in a groom's jacket pocket to capture the vows between him and the bride. I use them with Azden 503 lavs. Also have additional units for the officiant and others who might be speaking. The recording quality is top notch and the sync is perfect.
Summary: My wife is a wedding photographer and I'm a wedding videographer. I like to keep at least one video camera on the edge of the room so I can record the whole room, then pan and zoom in post production if anything interesting happens within the shot.
Summary: This is great recorder. I have three of them. I'm a court reporter and I use them on the job. You don't have to use an external mic with these recorders. They have good, clear sound even in a large room. Small, compact and rechargeable batteries are a plus.
Excerpt: Needed something small and light that would fit in a pocket. Something simple to navigate in the menu. Definitely something that had enough space for a couple hours on a hard drive, without having to buy a separate card. This has all that. $150 is a little expensive, honestly.
