Summary: Software was eady to install and use. Foot pedal controls work great. Headphones are low quality but adequate for doing transcription. Most people already have headphones of better quality they can use instead. So for me, the headphones are a nonissue. Overall, a good investment.
Summary: I purchased these for my work as transcribing from micro-cassettes became impossible. This is so clear and simple to use. It is wonderful to be able to choose which file to transcribe. Makes my job a lot easier!
Summary: The headphones are not adjustable and they are not really one size fits all. After using the headphones for a while, they start to bother your ears as well. Other than that the software is good.
Summary: I had difficulty getting it to work on my Mac. I called Olympus customer service, and a rep wanted me to purchase new software, which was ridiculous. I finally talked to a rep who had me download software from an Australian Olympus website. This download was not yet available in the US. It now works with no problems, and is a handy transcriber.
Summary: This product works great. I have had no probelms with it. The head phones are comfortable and have a long cord which makes moving around easy. The pedal is great as well. It is easy to use and step up.
Summary: I needed this for work, but it is overpriced, generally speaking. The vendor price was common going rate. Just very expensive when we probably could do with an Infinity pedal and free download software... But as far as Olympus goes, it is very good product and voice is clear! Easy to use. Just too expensive in this day and age. I have used it for years, but everytime windows updates, I have to update Olympus software. Toooooo expensive to keep up with.
