Summary: I looked everywhere for a DVD/VCR with a tuner and a coaxle connect along with the audio/video jacks . none of the local stores had anything close to this one for less than $300 I hooked this DVD/VCR to my Cable Box and my home theater system with no problems in about 15 minutes Highly recommend this product to anyone wanting to record or play with the VCR or be able to watch DVD's any time with one peice of equipment.
Summary: I found the VCR easy to set up and record shows. The biggest complaint I have is that there is a limited number of shows (8) that you can program at one time. So I will have to remember to set the rest later in the week. I am definately techno-challenged, so if I could figure this out, anybody can.
Summary: This reconditioned player is a fine value in pristine condition with only two caveats: the remote controller's layout is awkward (compared to others I've used) requiring more careful button pushing; the Video speeds do not include LP, a speed I like using - this machine only permits the SP and EP speeds. These are hardly make or break issues and I'd recommend buying this machine quite enthusiastically.
