The Sony SLV-D350P is a silver-finish 1-disc capacity DVD-Player and Video-Cassette Recorder-in-one machine that measures approximately 17.0 x 3.4 x 11.5 inches (W x H x D) and weighs 7.9 pounds. It supports playback of DVD-Video (NTSC), VCD, SVCD, video-mode DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW, red book CD, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3 CD, JPEG image CD, VHS tapes, and S-VHS tapes.

The player comes with 4-head Double Azimuth 19-micron video heads and a rotary head helical scanning FM video recording system. It covers VHF Channels 2 to 13, UHF Channels 14 to 69 and CATV Channels A-8 to A-1, A to W, and W+1 to W+84. It also has a 75-ohm antenna terminal for VHF/UHF.
