Summary: Fantastic VCR!!!! I loved my first Panasonic PV-V4525S VCR so much, I purchased 2 more. Wouldn't buy any other brand or model. Fast FF and fast rewind. Easy to use remote and easy to set to record shows. Great picture quality!!!! Very highly recommended!!!!!
Summary: Appearance of cabinet is perfect and working like new with all functions. Original remote perfect & recording on tapes looks like original source - suggesting still great heads and clean rollers, etc. Recommend only getting 4-head model and not using over 120 tapes is best. Got pdf of instructions online.
Summary: The player came very well packed and within the time span given. The player is in terrific shape. Having the original remote as well as the user manual is a great plus. The machine works perfectly. I am very happy with the purchase the seller.
Summary: The Good: VCR delivered quickly. The bad: VCR didn't work. The bad: had to pay $15.50 to return VCR. The good: replacement delivered quickly. The bad: remote control was missing. The good: VCR worked well. The good: a replacement remote arrived and worked. I don't understand why customer has to pay for shipping to return a defective item.
Summary: I was so happy to find this on Amazon....new and in box. It is the same model that we had used so much it gave up! We had tried just buying a new unit which our local store called a VCR/DVD recorder/player. Sadly, it would not record since we don't have the tuner it required to record anything or a cable "box" to translate and all the units we researched had the same problem. Hopefully, by the time this one gives up, the rest of our technology will have advanced.
Summary: I was lucky to have found this VCR, not only working but brand new. It is just like the one I had 15 years ago. The model is different but they use the same remote control. I still have my old VCR, it works fine, but I use my new one because I feel my older VCR deserves a rest. I record with both VHS and DVD units, but since getting this brand new VCR I tend to record more with VHS tapes, I guess old habits are hard to break. I bought this brand new VCR for around $100.
