GreyDX, Amazon
9 June 2015
  • Summary: Pro: Strongest suction I've ever had with one of these. Con: Foam piece that fits around filter is too small for this device. I tore off a bit of it trying to get it in place. It leaves 3/8 inch of the filter exposed top and bottom. How much did they save by undersizing this?

Dependable little vacuum!

John K., Amazon
23 May 2015
  • Summary: I recently bought a wet/dry vac by a famous household name and wound up incredibly disappointed with its poor build quality and lack of durability within the first few months, with multiple pieces breaking off under little physical duress. (They don't make 'em like they used to.

  • Summary: Powerful suction and large capacity. The leaf blower function is more useful than I initially thought it would be - great for cleaning the patio. The plethora of attachments is nice as well.

Overall good product with a not so good hose lock

Pam Shaffer, Amazon
3 May 2015
  • Summary: I love that the motor comes off the unit in order to use as a blower. The whole vac is lightweight, yet sturdy. The suction in both the wet and dry use was great. Easy to empty and the plug on the side is a great idea.

If used to pick up fine dust particles (such as in a basement)

dirkkid360 "Most men lead lives of quiet desperation. Don't be resigned to that. Break out!", Amazon
14 April 2015
  • Summary: This Vacmaster is powerful but here is one note of caution: If used to pick up fine dust particles (such as in a basement), you have to wear a dust mask and attach an old sock or stockings to the exhaust hole and secure with a screw clamp.

  • Summary: I bought the Vacmaster VBV1210 specifically to help with cleaning a hot tub as well as any other task that came up. The first time I used it, I emptied the entire hot tub with it - over 400 gallons. I didn't have a single issue.

Couldn't live without it!

Spencer Agnew, Amazon
1 February 2015
  • Summary: Of all the tools and equipment I've acquired since buying my first house, this is one of the few that I couldn't have lived without. Has served us well for two years of pretty heavy use, including getting us through refinishing the wood floors (the inside of our house looked like it had been through...

I was a little skeptical of this vacuum after reading some of the reviews, but ...

Jeff Burich, Amazon
6 January 2015
  • Summary: ... this was my purchase-of-the-year for 2014. The vacuum is powerful enough for every job around the house I've thrown at it, and the blower works very well too. The only thing I'd like to see incorporated is some kind of detachable shoulder strap for the blower, and only so I could keep one hand...

Great canister, unwieldy accessories adds as many probs as it solves in home shop

eb, Amazon
1 January 2015
  • Summary: We've had this vacuum for two years now. I selected & received it as an xmas gift and have used it quite a bit. It works well as a vac & blower, but hose & accessories are a huge pain to store - means that it adds as many problems as it solves in a home shop.
