Summary: Same problem as other reviewers, does not hold charge and now it no longer works, told by shark that it should not be left on the charger and it was my fault. I asked them why they designed the charger to store the unit on the wall if it wasn't suppose to stay charging their response was to unplug the unit at the wall after being charged. Customer service was difficult to deal with and I am unlikely to buy another shark product.

Summary: I do not usually write reviews and find giving an opinion or a review I did not own for that long would not assist any one. I bought this Shark Hand Vac in Dece-2013 and received it in January 2014. Battery started to have issues in July 2014 and did not hold a charge for that long. Coming December 2014 battery was completely gone and could not get a replacement for it. Would not buy or reccomend this item ever.
Summary: This handheld Vacuum is AMAZING!!! SOOOOOOO HAPPY I purchased it! Wish I had Sooner! The Suction is Super and the tools are Great that come with it! Charges up quickly and isn't heavy or awkward to use. It has Great Power for a handheld Vac! It was Well Worth the price (under $65)! TY SHARK!
Summary: This is a bit unwieldy, and the attachments fall out frequently, which is annoying. If you have small hands, it difficult to remove the top for cleaning. Still, it does the job for quick cleanups. the roller brush is a plus for quick pet hair cleanup. Make no mistake, this does not take the place of a full-sized, corded vacuum, but for quick cleanups, it works fine.
Summary: Very hand vac. We use it mostly to clean up around the fireplace, but also on floors, carpet where there are small spills where we don't want to get the "big" machine out. Very handy, charges well and stores well.
No Idea How They Still Sell This When It Fails So Often

Summary: Like many others, our Shark Hand vac died after about 4 months of light usage. I was very careful to follow the instructions on the initial charging and discharging, and tried to charge it appropriately afterwards (aware of all the concerns expressed here), but it still died. Not sure what went wrong, other than this might be a piece of garbage machine. The Shark company should be embarrassed to sell a product that fails so often.
