  • Summary: I was debating whether to buy a central vac for my remodel but decided to try and find a really good canister vacuum cleaner that would be easy to use and had the best cleaning power for my wood floors and carpeting in the bedrooms. With two dogs, I really needed something out of the ordinary! I found the SEBO D4 at AllergyBuyersClub and I couldn't be happier with its performance.
  • Pros: high quality, effective, quiet, reliable, easy to use, met my expectations

Not your average vacuum cleaner, and it's Made in Germany too.

Joel GSDCA "jg_SD", Amazon
24 February 2014
  • Summary: pros...it's made in Germany, and it's well engineered, and packed with features. I was a solid and trusty Miele guy, I have three of them, one stick vacuum, and two canisters (older Carina, and newer Olympus). I like that they are well made and engineered vacuums with well thought out features. But I also needed one that has a powerhead, and when I priced out the retrofit of my Olympus to accommodate an electric powerhead, it would cost me more than the vacuum itself.

  • Summary: The Sebo D4 replaced the C2 in our household which had seen almost daily use for 10 years with no servicing issues, so let's hear it for Sebo reliability! Truth is we did not need another vacuum but I am glad we treated ourselves to the upgrade. on the minus side this vacuum is a full size[read heavy] vacuum so best used on one level and it wasnt until I beefed up my core strength with Pilates that I was up to carrying it up and down stairs.I am quite tall at 5'7" but...

  • Summary: This vacuum is fantastic and really quiet which is a bonus! We had a cheapo Kenmore vacuum that was barely keeping up and needed replacing, especially since DH has terrible asthma. So to the internet to do research and find out whether the Dyson I had been dreaming of was really deserving of the hype. After finding out about Sebo D4 and Mieles it was only a matter of time to make the decision to spend this kind of money on a vacuum.

Pricey, but will last a long time and actually works very well

J. Schrading, Amazon
30 January 2014
  • Summary: I was looking to replace a hoover canister that died after 2 years and wanted to try all my options in all price ranges to see if an expensive vacuum was worth it. I tried a Samsung bagless and the Dyson Animal first, but immediately returned both because they were terrible on carpet. I only have 1 very low pile area rug and this vacuum easily glides over it and deeply cleans it so it looks brand new (the other two I tried couldn't even handle the low pile area rug).

I am over the moon about this Vac

Lynn M. Molyneux, Amazon
17 January 2014
  • Summary: I know it sounds silly to be that excited about a vacume cleaner, but, seriously it would take an awful lot to equal the performance and design of this one. It is sleek, extrememly quiet, has excellent suction, removes both sticky cat and dog hair like they were not even there. Including on white furniture! All of the parts attach to one another and detach with perfect ease, it extends and withdraws with ease.

High-quality machine

Julia Worthen, Amazon
1 January 2014
  • Summary: Most of the vacuums on the .market are made as if they are toys...this vacuum is extremely well-made and effective. Love the clever way the accessories are stored in the unit and the wrap-around bumper. My other vac is a Miele and I do believe I like the Sebo better.
