Summary: Works really great. One complaint is it gets clogged alot but the clog is always in the same place and once I figured that out it is easy to fix. It gets clogged right were the hose starts to climb up the vacuum. You need to remove two screws and pull out the hose. Pull out clog and will work again. This could easily be a 5 star review but really wanted to bring up that clog issue. I absolutely recommend it, just know you will need to unclog it sometimes.
Summary: My wife loves this vacuum!!! The good - Will pick up anything off the floor.... dirt, hair, socks, pillows, small animals! Large canister. The way the handle slides out for attachments is very convenient! The bad - Had to replace the carpet beater after 6 months, may have been my fault. Not sure I re-installed it correctly after cleaning it. Had to have the motor replaced after 1 year. The motor was less than the cost of the vacuum by enough to make it economical.
Summary: I use this at home & in my house cleaning business. I've used so may different vacs over the years. Panasonic still is best. This vac is not perfect but best available. It's sturdier than others & other Panasonics for sale now. Has great pick up! Tools are handy to get to. Dirt indicator is wonderful. I feel I'm doing my best for my customers when it turns green :). I've bought many extras so I will have them for my work. A good sturdy vac is getting harder to find.
Summary: I have owned a Kirby for years and it has gotten so old that I no longer want to pay to have it serviced. I recently bought a Red Devil vacuum for around 40 dollars and it works OK for the berber carpet and runners in the basement, but did nothing on my living room rug. This Panasonic cleans carpet well, but I was really surprised how well it cleans the hard wood floors. This is good because I originally chose it because it had a floor attachment.
Summary: Ive had this vacuum for about a week. I bought it to replace my Dyson that I had for 6 years and it recently cracked. My husband wanted another one because he really likes the telescope feature on the Dyson. I was convinced I could find something comparable without the big price tag. So far this Vacuum does the job. I mean its definatley no Dyson but i think its going to work for us.
Summary: I bought this vacuum for the upstairs specifically searching for one with a bypass motor. I had purchased a Biselle at Target (with claims that it's better than dyson) that lasted all of 1 month and the motor got HOT. Then it dawned on me that years ago (7) when I bought my Dyson, to look for a bypass motor. Rather than the debris flowing through a motor potentially causing damage to the motor (highly likely in my opinion), a bypass does not.
Summary: This seems to be a very effective vacuum, as it picks up dirt really well, even after having gone over the carpet first with a Hoover canister vac,it picked up a lot more dirt! However the dirt sensor quit working after only 15 minutes of use.(it is a new machine), The light just stays green ALL of the time. Even after emptying the cannister onto the floor and re-vacuuming all of that dirt it will not go to red! It will not work! Period! VERY disappointing!
Summary: In general the MC-UL915 has proven itself to be a wonderful vacuum. It does the job expected of it and cleans carpets and bare floors without much effort. We recently broke a glass bottle in our kitchen and it smashed across the floor landing pieces all over the place. I scrambled across the room (since I had flipflops on) and avoided piece after piece. Ten seconds with the vacuum and I felt I could walk again freely.
Summary: First vacuum that came had a defect and the handle wouldn't latch into the wand. This made it impossible to even try it out. There were 3 other reviews that I read where this same problem occurred. Amazon exchanged the product and the new one works wonderfully. It is unfortunate that the first one they sent had a defect. Also, looked online to see where nearest Panasonic repair shop was located, if ever needed, but closest one is about 3 hrs away for me.
Summary: My last vacuum was a Kenmore Progressive Bagless Upright with Inteli-Clean System, Purple: Model 36932. This modle like the Panasonic has a dirt sensor. I really like the dirt sensor option in a bagless vacuum. So seeing the good reviews I bought this model. Here is what I discovered. Positives: The suction seems good, nothing that wows me, but it seems adequate on carpet and hard floors. It does a better job edge cleaning than my old model.
