Summary: I never realized that Panasonic made vacuum cleaners for many years now. I would guess based on the quality of this model that they have an idea on how to build them correctly. This vacuum feels solid and not flimsy like the few Hoovers I have had in the past.
Summary: Since this machine replaced my 1975 Eureka after 40 years, it of course seemed wonderful. Did an excellent job of cleaning. No I want to see how it holds up over time. The Eureka set a high bar!
Summary: Great So far! I don't think it's heavy at all and so far it has been great for getting all of the pet hair out of my carpet. Easy to assemble and does exactly what it's supposed to. Very nice to not have to unplug and replug all the time :)
Summary: Works really great. One complaint is it gets clogged alot but the clog is always in the same place and once I figured that out it is easy to fix. It gets clogged right were the hose starts to climb up the vacuum. You need to remove two screws and pull out the hose. Pull out clog and will work again.
Summary: My wife loves this vacuum!!! The good - Will pick up anything off the floor.... dirt, hair, socks, pillows, small animals! Large canister. The way the handle slides out for attachments is very convenient! The bad - Had to replace the carpet beater after 6 months, may have been my fault.
Summary: I use this at home & in my house cleaning business. I've used so may different vacs over the years. Panasonic still is best. This vac is not perfect but best available. It's sturdier than others & other Panasonics for sale now. Has great pick up! Tools are handy to get to.
Summary: I have owned a Kirby for years and it has gotten so old that I no longer want to pay to have it serviced. I recently bought a Red Devil vacuum for around 40 dollars and it works OK for the berber carpet and runners in the basement, but did nothing on my living room rug.
Summary: Ive had this vacuum for about a week. I bought it to replace my Dyson that I had for 6 years and it recently cracked. My husband wanted another one because he really likes the telescope feature on the Dyson. I was convinced I could find something comparable without the big price tag.
