Summary: Well, I want to love it. Worked great while it worked, better than my older Dyson. But it failed after three months. As it was still under warranty, I called Panasonic for a service location. The technician told me no authorized service centers were closer than Lockport, NY, 260 miles away.
Summary: in a range of 1-100, I would give it a 35. it does not pick up cat litter or pet hair, the upright position does not work, it does not lock, if you use the hose and try and pull it, it just falls down. I picked it up yesterday and will be returning it tomorrow.
Summary: This vacuum really sucks! (Groan!) And that's the important thing about it. It picks up an amazing amount of dirt and dog hair from a carpet that seems to be clean. Emptying it is a bit difficult when you want to get every bit of dirt or hair etc.
Summary: This vacuum cleaner is the absolute worst.DO NOT BUY IT!!! It has terrible, almost non-existent suction. It is extremely heavy and hard to maneuver. The cord has a terrible ergonomic design such that it is always in the way. Can you tell that I hate this vacuum cleaner?
Summary: Bought this in May 2012 had to take it to the shop for lost of suction. Now its back to the shop with a bad motor. Shop called said motor was burned out and needs replacing. Panasonic closes service center is two states away and Panasonic wants me to ship it to them at my cost, really.
Summary: Before buying the Panasonic, I always bought the cheapest Bissell Powerforce because I replaced them every 6 months. I assumed, I would keep this vacuum cleaner a lot longer to justify the investment. Unfortunately, that is not possible.
Summary: Purchased this vac to replace my Hoover Whisper Cyclonic. The Hoover is great... we just repurposed it to the cottage after a few years. The panasonic looked great on paper, but that is where it ends. I wanted a vac that could be half canister, half regular and this made those claims.
Summary: I've had this vacuum for 7 months; at first I liked it, but have come to hate it. We have two large dogs and one cat and live in a wooded area, so they track in all kinds of stuff from outside. I vacuum at least twice a week, sometimes more.
Summary: Okay...let me begin by saying that any vacuum is great when it is brand spanking new. It's after some use that we begin to see the flaws... I purchased this vacuum two years ago and paid a whole lot more for it, because at that time it was the latest and the greatest. I have a large home with pets.
