Summary: in a range of 1-100, I would give it a 35. it does not pick up cat litter or pet hair, the upright position does not work, it does not lock, if you use the hose and try and pull it, it just falls down. I picked it up yesterday and will be returning it tomorrow.
Summary: Works really great. One complaint is it gets clogged alot but the clog is always in the same place and once I figured that out it is easy to fix. It gets clogged right were the hose starts to climb up the vacuum. You need to remove two screws and pull out the hose. Pull out clog and will work again. This could easily be a 5 star review but really wanted to bring up that clog issue. I absolutely recommend it, just know you will need to unclog it sometimes.
Summary: My wife loves this vacuum!!! The good - Will pick up anything off the floor.... dirt, hair, socks, pillows, small animals! Large canister. The way the handle slides out for attachments is very convenient! The bad - Had to replace the carpet beater after 6 months, may have been my fault. Not sure I re-installed it correctly after cleaning it. Had to have the motor replaced after 1 year. The motor was less than the cost of the vacuum by enough to make it economical.
Summary: My old Panasonic had died as far as I was concerned. Cord had a lot of electrical tape on it. I noticed Wal*Mart had a Panasonic Vacuum in the store. Well, I didn't want that model so I went online. The MC-UL915 had the telescopic wand an a longer cord plus it was recommended for pet owners. My cat had died in Nov. of 2013 but I knew kitty fur was still present in the house. Wow, did I find out just how much. It is amazing how much this vacuum picks up.
Summary: I use this at home & in my house cleaning business. I've used so may different vacs over the years. Panasonic still is best. This vac is not perfect but best available. It's sturdier than others & other Panasonics for sale now. Has great pick up! Tools are handy to get to. Dirt indicator is wonderful. I feel I'm doing my best for my customers when it turns green :). I've bought many extras so I will have them for my work. A good sturdy vac is getting harder to find.
Summary: This is an unwieldy, heavy vacuum that is difficult to manoever as a result. There is one tool that has no holder which is inconvenient. The rocker button for the carpet/bare floor option kept switching to bare floor even though I was vacuuming carpet. Very disappointed as I had Panasonic cleaners for years before they changed their manurfacturing methods.
Summary: Purchased this Panasonic to replace the Dyson I've had for 6 years. The suction was VERY good (I joked that I thought it was pulling dust up from the basement and through the sub-flooring). However, the design is poor. When using the attachment to vacuum floors, the base doesn't easily roll behind. When I turn to pull the machine behind me by hand, there's nothing to grab hold of. I ended up pulling it by the cord holder thing.
Summary: And I mean STRONG! This truly seems like one of those vacuums professional cleaning services use. It is so powerful, it can "eat" your carpet. It is heavy, it is noisy, it is big. If you are looking for something light and maneuverable - don't bother. But if you want your house to be clean this is the man for the job! It is easy to empty, although the quick empty hatch is a bit messy. I would rather open it and clean. Easy to disassemble and wash. Long wire.
Pros: Durable, Exceeded expectations, Convenient, very powerful
