Summary: I bought the Panasonic V5210 after my old Panasonic non commercial vacuum just wore out. I thought that the commercial one would be better, but I have discovered that it seems to have less power and is not worth the extra money. My old Panasonic had a switch where you could turn off the rotating brush ,but this one doesn't have that feature. The nice thing about the vacuum is the extra long cord, the bad part is it is cumbersome and tangles quite easily.
Summary: Bought this because it had the motor bypass which is a must. It also self propelled. I have had Panansonics for years they last and are powerful. The only surprise was the cord. Pros are that it is long enough to reach anywhere. Cons are that is it so long and heavy tends to get in the way.
Summary: Over the years I've spent a lot on vacuums and usually I've been disappointed. I do not like the plastic feel of most on the market. Even the Dyson overpriced stuff is too plastic. I LIKE vacuums with BAGs. They are easier to deal with IMHO. Bag-less vacuums are dopey, they make it look so neat and clean on TV, but this is not the case. So I bought this Panasonic and I really like the job it does on carpet.
