Great, lightweight vacuum

amyb, Bestbuy
  • Summary: This is a great vacuum that helps get the dog hair off the carpet. It automatically goes to the level of the carpet.
  • Pros: It get's the dog hair out of the carpet, and the retractable cord is very convenient.

  • Summary: The suction is excellent but it won't roll over thick rugs. Emptying dust bin is easy but removing top portion for cleaning is difficult.

  • Summary: This is my 2nd vacuum. I wouldn't have any other than this Panasonic. It's easy to use and I really love how it picks up and best of all it's lightweight and not cumbersome.

  • Summary: Absolutely in love with my new vacuum :) I honestly even forgot how good vacuum should work...in 5 minutes I`ve notice that duster was half full of dirt...I had no idea I had that much, as I used my old one for quite few years , and notice lately it stopped picking a little things. this blue guy definitely knows how to suck !! Easy to assemble, easy to use...easy to clean...easy to move it around...easy to store...cute and compact, doesn't make much noise.

  • Summary: Works great. I can't believe how much suction it has. It picked up so much dirt! But it just slings stuff around on my stained concrete floors.

  • Summary: I had a older Panasonic bag model for about 15 years, finally retired it to the basement when I bought a newer, different brand bagless. After getting sick of the poor features of the other, I decided to look at Panasonic again. I bought this bagless 425 series and I am really pleased so far. It is quiet, handles well, the bagless feature is much easier (and cleaner) to empty than the other brand I had. The retracting cord feature saves time.

Buy something else.

  • Summary: This vacuum has great suction but - 1. The auto height adjustment is annoying because it feels like the height is too low sometimes. 2. On my area rugs it is impossible to vacuum all directions - it will only pull across the rug in certain directions. 3. The BIG PROBLEM: Clogs and then overheats. Then it shuts down for an hour. It got to the point that I couldn't even finish the big area rug. 4. The on-board tools are annoying. I felt like a peddler.

Total Garbage

BlueWaveNE, Amazon
31 October 2013
  • Summary: My wife purchased this vacuum from Amazon less then two weeks ago and it is already having major problems. The vacuum overheats and shuts itself off after less then 5 minutes. The motor sounds like it is ready to explode. We have checked for any clogs, jams etc. It is just poorly built. If we had not already tossed the box, this would be going back. I expected alot more from Panasonic.

Nice lightweight, inexpensive

Kimberly "nicktee", Amazon

  • Summary: It is a nice vacuum, does what is expected. Good suction and very easy to handle given its light weight. The automatically retractable cord is a nice feature though the cord is not as long as other vacuums. It is easy to empty. After two months use I have no complaints. I would be cautious in recommending it to anyone with a large home as it is somewhat small, but it works fine in my townhouse.
