Summary: Great little cannister vacuum-love the 360 degree swivel hose. The attachments easily store inside the hood. It is lightweight and vacuums very well. You can go from carpet to floor mode (where the brush stops spinning) with an easy click on the handle. The only issue I have is when I need to disconnect the powerhead to go to attachment mode. The button is tight and you have to really tug to remove-a bit of a nuisance.
Summary: We have used this product only a few times and certainly not enough to give a good judgment on it's reliability, performance, and durability. It is a nice looking unit and so far has performed as expected. It seems to have all that was advertised and all the features that were named in the company specification literature. Thus far, there is only one item that we find a little troublesome and that is the door of the compartment that contains the small hand tools.
Summary: Have not used it a lot yet, but the use that it has been through works well. great suction. The only negative so far is the floor/carpet powered head and extension wand will not stand up by itself when you want to move.
Summary: They are all plastic now, get over it! but this unit seems to be built solid. After returning our Samsung vacuum (after only 6 months) to BB, as Samsung could not fix it, wirers in handle came apart, and after reviewing many at CR,BB,HD,L, Face, and Walmart, we went for this unit. We wanted a bagless, but could not find a very good model review. We have a long hair dog, so that also was a major factor. This unit does pickup the dog hair and everything else great.
Summary: I have only had it for a week or so and like it. The only problem so far is that the connection from the main hose to the canister sometimes needs needs an occasional reseating when the unit will not turn on.
Summary: It may say Panasonic but it is an identical twin to a popular Kenmore unit. The Kenmore unit got poor user reviews on Consumer Reports-- the user reviews for the Panasonic unit are better. So far it works well. Time will tell.
Summary: The hose is flexible and long enough. The cord length is long by comparison to my upright. Lots of tools. The beater bar is not up to the standards of an upright, but...more than adequate for my carpet and a family of 2 adults and no pets. I was looking for something that would not aggravate my back. This will work for me. A little pricey.
