Summary: I have waited about six months to write this review for various reasons. Let me begin here: After having and loving several older Hoover Wind Tunnel model canister vacuums over the years (many lasting twenty years or more!), it was finally time to get a new machine (parts for the old were simply no longer available!). The questions: Upright or canister? Bagged or bagless? Price? And especially in this era: Reviews? We read and read hundreds of reviews.
Summary: In the past I had been using a Kenmore Canister vacuum. It worked well for 10 years but it was starting to wear out. I chose the Panasonic based on the same stylings and options. It offered the same options and reliability as a Kenmore and the cost was less. After using this vacuum for about a month now, I am very pleased with it's performance and ability to pick up pet hair!
The best canister out there right now for the money :)

Summary: I am definitely pleased with it. It has features I have not had before and seems to be well designed. The carpet beater works as well as any upright. The wand is adjustable and I really like this because I am short. Another thing I notice is because I keep the wand short it keeps that part from tipping over as easily which is something I noticed in other reviews about being tippy. So the higher it is set the more tippy it can be if you are not watching how you leave it.
Summary: I love this vacuum cleaner. It is quite powerful for the size and sound. I had expected it to be much louder than it actually turned out. It moves with ease from one surface to another with a simple touch of the thumb. My only problems so far is the size of the bag. I feel it could be larger, but it is a small cleaner. I don't care much for the color of lime green either.
