Summary: I am so enjoying this fantastic product! It is so light weight and easy to use plus carry around the house upstairs and downstairs. It is meeting all my high expectations that I thought it would have for cleaning. It is not bulky and takes up less storage space but still gives a fantastic cleaning experience for me.
Summary: This item is NOT made in USA!!! I just received it, and printed right on the box is "Made in China." I opened it up just to double check...yes, printed right on the bottom of the unit, "Made in China." I am so disappointed, both with Oreck and Amazon for their false information. This is going back immediately.
Summary: I really like the power. The negative side is the three wheels. The canister often turns over. The combination of the canister and the upright makes house cleaning a breeze... I ordered bags for the cleaner when I bought it. Sadly to say, I was sent bags (PKBB120W) for a different type canister. Since we live in the country, this necessitated my going to a larger town to the Oreck Dealer to buy the correct bags.
Summary: All the features I wanted: reasonable price, good suction, versatility, compact size, retractable cord. Can't do much better for the money. Limited number of tools, but the tools from my old vac fit just fine. Be careful about ordering the correct bags. I got the wrong ones on first try, but Amazon was quick to replace them.
Summary: I'm used to having central vac but can't do that here at the condo and since we only have hard floors, tile or wood, it made sense to do a lightweight canister. Suction is ok, not what I'm used to but seems to do the job.
Summary: As some other customers pointed out, it's not so great on carpets because it doesn't have a rotating brush, but it is great on hardwood floors-very maneuverable, lightweight, easy to use. I have huskies, and I can quickly vac up the dog hair in just a few minutes.
