Summary: I do enjoy how powerful this Miele S7260 Cat & Dog vacuum is. It is effective in removing pet hair. On carpet, some hair will collect on the underside and will rub off on another area of carpet; this may be static working here.
Summary: I have owned many vacuums over the years including 3 Dyson's. Nothing compares. This is simply an amazing vacuum. It's sturdy, high quality and very quiet. The light featured on the front is great for seeing dust in places you normally wouldn't. I will never own anything but Miele vacuums again.
Excerpt: This is a phenomenal machine! Are you kidding me? Quiet, terrific features and functions outstanding German engineering. It's fabulous. Love the built in extension piece, the switch pkacement, the swivel, even the delighter LED lights. Make sure you push the handle in hard enough to get the full loud click or the electrical will not have a good connection and it will cut out. We called the help line on a Saturday.
Summary: This vacuum really sucks...in a good way, but is far more quiet than you'd expect from such a powerhouse. Build quality is top rate...solid as a rock. Price is steep, but it feels like you're vacuuming with an Audi. Heavy, but no dead weight.
Excerpt: Love this vacuum!! It is a little heavier than other vacuum's, but it it still very easy to use . Love the swivel handle, maneuvering is a breeze with this one. We have several pets and I wanted a vacuum to handle both the pet hair and cat litter..this works great for both on carpet and wood floors. The switches near the top of the handle are very convenient to go from carpet to wood floors. The light is great..really helps me see things that I know I was missing before.
Pros: Easy to Use, Efficient, Long Power Cord, Powerful/Good Suction
Quietest Vacuum I've ever owned - Wouldn't hesitate to buy again if I ever had to

Summary: Pros: Quiet Works well on everything from carpet to floors Quiet Powerful - variable suction picks up pet hair great Handles well Did I say Quiet? Really feels like it has quality construction - don't waste your time or money on the cheaper $200-300 Hoover (even though they are CR Top Rated, they use really cheapy plastic) Cons: Expensive Cheap power cord clip broke - don't know why they couldn't have had a better solution given the rest of the high quality materials
Summary: Like Miele. My only complaint has been it became stopped up in less than a year and I had to drive and hour to get the machine serviced/unplugged. It was not the hose that plugged, but somewhere up inside. Has been working fine since. Germany workmanship is known for dependability and I do like this vacuum very much. I wish it were a tiny bit later, because for a female the model can be a bit to carry up and downstairs, etc.
Summary: This is the best vacuum cleaner I have owned. We have a Kirby from the 70s, but it is very heavy and not power propelled. Our first Dyson Animal is also heavy and several of the plastic parts have broken. Our second Dyson Animal Ball is more light weight, but the cord is short and the canister doesn't hold as much as the first Dyson. I have to empty my bagless vacuums every time I use them. Not healthy for the dust allergic.
Now I vacuum because I want to, not because I have to

Summary: After researching countless vacuums I settled on the Miele S7260 and I can say I'm very pleased with it. The first thing I noticed was how easy it glides over carpet. Instead the the normal non-steering wheels, this has swivel wheels in the front, which makes turning effortless. The second thing I notice was how quiet this is! Wow..
